Class #5. Ism attribute gender

All Arabic Ism are classified into masculine and feminine.

By default Ism are masculine

The feminine gender is divided into two category.

• Real: Real feminine like Mother, Sister, Wife, etc
• Fake: These are noun that are assigned female gender like Sun, Cars, etc

How fake feminine are determined

1. Ta Marbuta
2. Alif with Hamza (only for Color)
3. Ya
2. Broken Plural
3. Places
4. Body Parts in Pairs
5. Because Arabs said so
